More chances to play and sign up the day of: Due to its status as the premier cornhole tournament in the World, the Throw Down Cornhole Tournament has sold out for the last 15 years. However, we have added additional cornhole tournaments that run throughout the weekend, so everyone has a chance to compete. Women’s Double’s, Crew Cup, Big Money Blind Draws, and $10, $20 and $40 Blind Draws are just some of the other opportunities to compete. For those who want to play cornhole just for fun, all festival attendees are invited to participate for free on the open courts, in the midst of the excitement of the cornhole festival.

The Truck Show is back for it's third year to the Throw Down Cornhole Festival on Saturday August 23, 2025. Highlighting vehicles from the late 1950’s to 1980’s. Some of the trucks featured will be C10s, Ford Square Bodies, Squarebody Trucks, Blazers, Broncos, Jeeps, Scouts, Suburbans, K10 Motorcycles, Volkswagens and other vehicles theme related. Truck Show opens to the public at 10am to 6pm at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.

Spencer Makenzie's invites all players of all skill levels to enter the World's Largest Cornhole Tournament "The Throw Down" on Friday August 22, 2025 thru Sunday August 24, 2025. This 3 day cornhole tournament is the largest cornhole tournament in the world and is held in the beautiful beach town of Ventura California. Come enjoy the tournament as a cornhole player or spectator there is plenty of food, drinks, cold beer, live music, truck show, vendors and wonderful beach weather.

All players who play will be competing for over $300,000 in guaranteed payouts thru out the weekend. Plus all teams with Ventura County residency will be competing for a additional payouts. So mark your calendars now, only 1028 teams will be playing. This cornhole tournament sells out every year!

Back for the third year is our Truck Show: Added as an addition to the The Throw Down Cornhole Festival is our Truck Show on Saturday August 23, 2025. This truck show will showcase classic trucks from the 1960’s through the 1980’s – with a special emphasis on vintage “square body” types including Chevrolet C10 pickups, Jeeps, Scouts, Suburbans, Ford Broncos, and Chevy Blazers. Truck clubs from around the state are participating and over 200 trucks are expected to be on display.
